Utilizing bagasse, a sugarcane byproduct, as its primary raw material, SEW boasts an impressive annual production capacity of approximately 300 million units.

In late December 2019, SEW’s packaging production facility reached completion, marking the commencement of commercial operations in the first quarter of 2020. Initially, the company sourced bagasse pulp from external suppliers; however, in 2020, it established a small-scale pulp production plant to conduct research and trials on bagasse pulp manufacturing. This was followed by the construction of a large-scale pulp mill, which commenced operations in the fourth quarter of 2021.

SEW’s commitment to sustainability extends to its pulp production process, employing an innovative Organic Process that eliminates the use of bleaching agents, resulting in clean and chemical-free pulp. This unique process is a testament to the company’s dedication to research and development, solidifying its position as a pioneer in the industry.
